Sir Keir Starmer to Push Allies on Extended-Range Weaponry for Ukrainian Forces at London Summit

The UK Prime Minister plans to press partner nations to provide Ukrainian forces with further long-range missiles to hit Russian targets during a meeting in London on Friday.

The prime minister is set to welcome President the Ukrainian head of state alongside the so-called "alliance of supportive nations", including over twenty of Kyiv's partners who have agreed to offer Ukraine security guarantees once a ceasefire is negotiated.

Ukraine's president has been urging for several weeks for more extended-range systems from the West, a move that Moscow has cautions would intensify the conflict.

The Prime Minister will press delegates to expand the provision of long-range weapons following an effective operation on a manufacturing site in the Bryansk region, the Russian Federation, using UK-provided Storm Shadow missiles.

A pair of children were part of at least seven killed in a wave of Moscow's attacks on the country, which targeted a daycare center in the important metropolitan area the eastern city.
